Video Resumes

What is a Video Resume?

Video resumes are a way for candidates to go beyond traditional methods of applying, such as submitting only a resume, cover letter, and work samples. Lasting typically 60 seconds, these videos are your shot to make the best first impression to an employer. A video resume lets the employer literally see you and hear your case (via your communication skills, personality and charisma) as the best candidate for the job - all before the interview takes place.

During the COVID-19 pandemic, we are sad to see so many talented, deserving and hard-working people laid off from their jobs. So, we got together to brainstorm how Simply Done Business can help the economy and the people with what we do best: marketing and video production.

We are happy to offer a 15-minute video recording session in our professional studio located just outside of Nashville, TN for only $99.

What to Expect:

We will be as flexible as possible to meet your needs. Also, don't fear, we will be practicing as much social distancing as possible due to COVID-19 and providing a clean and sanitary environment.

You will arrive on your date and time at our studio in Gallatin, Tennessee wearing clothing that you would normally wear to a job interview. You will be greeted and given a short briefing. We provide all of the necessary equipment to make your Video Resume look as professional as possible to give you a leg up in any job application process.

We provide the following: professional lighting, background, teleprompter, microphone and HD cameras.

During your recording session, you will have as many takes as you need to complete your 60 second video that your session time will allow. You are required to supply your own script, via email, so that we may transfer it to the teleprompter.

Once your session is complete, you can expect to have your finalized video delivered for download within 2 business days!
